Citizens Advice Bureau
The Citizens Advice Bureau is 'an independent community organisation whose member bureaux and specialist services around New Zealand provide information, advice, advocacy and support to individuals'. This service is free, impartial and confidential. There is a regional office in Whakatane.
Whakatane Newcomers Group
The Newcomers group is set up to make it easier for people new to the area to make friends, settle in and feel welcome.
Disabilities Resource Centre
Disabilities Resource Centre Trust assist people with disabilities to reach their goals. Which includes home care services, information services, advocacy and independent living and community service.
